I don’t always meditate. Sometimes, I mop.
When I’m overwhelmed or stuck in my head, ordinary movement can bring me back. Cleaning is proof that small, repeated actions create visible change. Wiping a counter isn’t mystical, but it can be grounding. Folding laundry can create a rhythm. Putting on music and vacuuming like nobody’s watching can clear more than a room.
Movement isn’t limited to workouts. Sometimes care looks like doing the next ordinary thing with attention.
